1. What Is Pocket TrialRoom?

Pocket TrialRoom is a free, browser-based web application. It allows shoppers to photograph a dress on a store hanger, then overlay that dress image onto a live camera feed of themselves or a friend — helping them visually preview how a dress might look before deciding to try it on physically or buy it.

2. Eligibility & Access

• You must be at least 13 years of age to use this service. If you are under 18, you should have parental permission.
• No account registration is required. The app is free and open to all users.
• We reserve the right to restrict access to the service in specific regions if required by local law.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Pocket TrialRoom only for its intended purpose: visually previewing dresses on yourself or others before purchasing. You must NOT:

• Use the app to record, photograph, or film another person without their explicit consent.
• Point the camera at someone without their knowledge in a public or private setting.
• Use the app to generate, store, or share offensive, harmful, or inappropriate images.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the app's source code for commercial purposes without written permission.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws.

4. Camera & Device Permissions

• The app requests access to your device camera solely to render the live fitting room experience.
• You grant this permission voluntarily through your browser. You can revoke it at any time in your browser or device settings.
• We are not responsible for any images or videos you create using this app. You are solely responsible for the content you generate and how you use it.
• Do not use the camera feature to capture images of other people without their informed consent. This could be illegal in your jurisdiction.

5. Accuracy & Fitness Disclaimer

Pocket TrialRoom provides a visual approximation only. The dress overlay is a 2D image positioned using body pose estimation — it is not a perfect 3D simulation of how a dress will physically fit your body.

• The virtual preview does not account for fabric stretch, exact body measurements, hemline length on your specific height, or physical comfort.
• We strongly recommend physically trying on any dress before purchasing.
• We are not liable for any purchasing decisions made based solely on the virtual try-on preview.

6. No Warranties

Pocket TrialRoom is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Uninterrupted or error-free access to the service.
• Compatibility with all devices, browsers, or operating systems.
• Accuracy of pose tracking or dress alignment results.

We make no guarantees that the service will always be available, especially during maintenance periods or server outages.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developers of Pocket TrialRoom shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
• Any purchasing decisions made based on virtual try-on results.
• Any loss of data stored in your browser's LocalStorage.
• Any camera permission issues or hardware incompatibilities on your device.

8. Intellectual Property

• The name "Pocket TrialRoom", the application code, design, and content are the intellectual property of the developer, Barnala Chakravardhan.
• Images of dresses that you snap or upload remain your property. We make no claim over them.
• The MediaPipe Pose library is subject to Google's terms of service.

9. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Please read our full Privacy Policy to understand how your camera data, images, and device storage are handled. The key point: we collect nothing. Everything stays on your device.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Pocket TrialRoom shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
